This cartridge is effective for organic vapors and non-oil / oil particulate concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half face pieces, or 50 times PEL for full face pieces. Its bright and bold magenta / black color combination is part of the NIOSH color-coded system to make identification easy, and the swept-back design ensures user comfort as well as an optimal field of view.
